What is synthesis?
Many words in Russian have several meanings depending on the context in which they are used. For example, what is synthesis? Consider the definitions of this word in its various meanings. Let's start with a general definition.
Synthesis is a peculiar process of reunion of various substances or concepts into a single whole. Now let's talk more specifically.
Surely you have not heard or have already forgotten what matrix synthesis is. This is the process of polymerization and polycondensation. The structure of the polymer is determined by matrices (macromolecules) that are in contact with monomers (one or more) and growing chains. We can observe an example of such a synthesis in the biosynthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. There, the role of templates is played by all of us known DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA (Ribonucleic acid).
The structural matrix effect is the ability of a matrix to influence the length, as well as the chemical structure and spatial structure of the daughter chains. In general, matrix synthesis is a promising method for producing polymeric materials.
Next, consider what protein synthesis. This is the most complex biosynthetic process. However, despite the fact that it requires a large number of enzymes and other macromolecules, it proceeds rather quickly. Synthesis of protein in our body is carried out at the cellular level. Nucleic acids participate in it, and the arrangement of nucleotides is able to determine the sequence of amino acids in a protein molecule (predetermine the synthesized protein structure).
During protein synthesis, a lot of energy is expended - 24.2 kcal / mol. When the synthesis process is over, the protein is delivered to its destination using a special polypeptide leader. In protein synthesis, there are operator genes that control its process. An operon is a collection of structural genes and operator genes. This is not an independent system, it is subject to the gene-regulators, which are responsible for the beginning and end of the operon.
And what is the synthesis of the arts, and how does it manifest itself? This is a reunion of different types of art into one. There are two types of synthesis in art:
- Inside an art form — for example, using a passage of a comic text in an epic.
- Between types of art - for example, creating a screen image based on a script that was written based on a literary book.
The ratio between the arts involved in the synthesis is very diverse. Several types of art can coalesce among themselves (for example, architecture and Gothic sculptures). The types of arts that look decent in contrast with each other (for example, the construction of architecture in the XX century). Just 2 types of art can complement each other, while not merging into one whole (for example, the art of the Renaissance).
And the last thing we consider in our article is what organic synthesis is. It is included in the section of technology and chemistry, which studies various aspects (methods, methods, apparatus, etc.) of obtaining organic compounds, products, materials, and processes for the production of substances. Its main purpose is the manufacture of substances with valuable biological, chemical and physical properties.
