Tripl Stitched Illustrator Collection
Men’s Shirt Brand Collaborates With Three Talents
Men’s shirt brand Tripl Stitched has unveiled its first collection in partnership with a number of London-based creatives.
The line, which was manufactured in its own factory in London using vintage machinery, has been created in partnership with three London illustrators: IYA, Josh McKenna and Jack Cunningham.
Independent creative studio IYA works with clients across multiple disciplines. The company’s shirt design, the Scriptura pattern, is based on a graphic from a 1970s screen-printed calendar.
Illustrator and designer Josh McKenna’s shirt features a linocut illustration of the famous cockney rhyming slang ‘Apples & Pears’, with the addition of tropical fruit to create a contemporary twist.
Jack Cunningham is an illustrator and animator. His playful characters, each depicting different parts of the shirt making process, come together to create a pattern.
All three shirts have been produced in a limited run in heavyweight indigo cotton with a subtle tone-on-tone finish.
Tripl Stitched said that over the past ten years it has sourced, shipped and restored shirt-making machines from around the world.
It added that the company focuses on“The finest quality construction combined with prints developed with some of Britain’s best creative talents”.
Shirts in the Illustrator Collection are available to buy now in sizes small to extra large direct from for £125.
