Marinated Watermelon

In winter, I really want to have a modicum of summer. Billets for the winter will help us in this! Try marinated watermelon - easy to prepare and very tasty! An interesting recipe for making an unusual treat that you’ll love.

You'll need

  • watermelon.
Other ingredients (based on one three-liter jar):
  • carrots - 1-2 thin circles
  • onion - 1-2 ringlet
  • garlic - 3-4 cleaned teeth
  • laurel leaves - to taste.
  • dill - to taste
  • black pepper - a few peas
For the marinade (also based on one three-liter jar):
  • vinegar - 3 tbsp. l. (9% required)
  • salt and sugar - 2 tbsp. l.

Preparation of pickled watermelon for the winter

Initially, we set to cook water.

In the meantime, prepare the banks. They should be clean and dry. At the bottom of the can we lay out: bay leaf, carrot onion, black pepper, a bunch of dill (or other greens,depending on taste) and garlic.

We cut the watermelon into four pieces, then with thin slices. We post them in banks.

When the water boils, pour into jars, cover and leave for 10 minutes.

Drain the water in a saucepan and now add the ingredients for the marinade, based on the number of three-liter jars. While the marinade is boiling, we complete the jars with watermelon slices so that they are full. Fill the marinade and again leave for 10-12 minutes.
