How to pickle garlic?

Garlic gives spice to many dishes. However, not everyone loves him. Even fewer people know how to pickle garlic. In this article, we present a recipe for pickled garlic, which will not leave anyone indifferent.


  • 500 g of garlic;
  • 100 g of 9% vinegar;
  • 100 g of water;
  • 10 g of salt;
  • 30 grams of sugar;
  • Four peas pepper;
  • Three bay leaves;
  • Two teaspoons of hop-suneli.

Cooking process

To get started, make a marinade: take all the ingredients except garlic and mix. Heat them to a boil over medium heat and leave to cool. Then make salty boiling water separately and put the peeled garlic into it, literally for three minutes. Pour boiling water, pour garlic with usual cold water, immediately cooling it.

Garlic prepared with such simple actions is placed in a suitable container (as an option - a regular can) and filled with cold (!) Marinade. Cover the container with clean paper and marinate for three to four days at room temperature.

After this period, pickled garlic can be consumed. Bon Appetit!
