How to make text in HTML?

What is the knowledge of tags? The fact is that without them you will not be able to learn how to make text in HTML with an orientation to a specific font, a specific color and so on.

To convert a regular font into bold, the <b> and </ b> tags are used, text is inserted between them. To convert text to underlined, <u> and </ u> are used. To make italic text, you need <i> and </ i> tags, between which text is inserted. A small font can be obtained in HTML by enclosing a specific phrase between the <small> and </ small> tags. Large font is obtained by converting plain text using the tags <big> and </ big>. For article titles there is a <h5> headline text </ h5> tag

More complex are the text </ sup> and text </ sub> tags. The first two tags allow you to write specific text as a footnote at the top, and the other two tags are needed to write the index below. For example, these tags can be used to denote numbers in a square, square meters, and so on.

If you don’t know how to insert text into HTML so that you get a tooltip, we’ll tell you what you need to add the universal attribute title = "tooltip text" to the tag. The type of hint itself depends on what settings are in the operating system, as well as on how you use the browser. But using HTML you cannot change them, only through javascript.

If you need to increase the size of the text, just put the desired font size near the tag. Basically, use fonts in sizes from one to three.

Before you align the text in HTML, you need to decide where the text should be placed.

  1. If you want to align it to the left, you need to add the attribute ALIGN = "LEFT" to the tag.
  2. If you want to align the text to the right, you need to write after the tag ALIGN = "RIGHT".
  3. If the alignment should be centered, write after the ALIGN = "CENTER" tag.
