Does The Make Me An Obnoxious Daughter/Daughter-In-Law?
Our household is not accepting un-pre-approved toys this holiday season. Meaning, if Emmett's grandparents want to buy him clothing, I'm 100 percent on board with that. (Spring/summer clothing, please!) Books are also acceptable. And I'll send each a list with a few toys if they'd like a list, but any other toys (especially those of the hulking, plastic variety) will be left at the gift-giver's house and Emmett will play with the toys when we visit.
I know it's the grandparents' job to spoil Emmett, but we just DON'T have room for more toys! The toy storage situation is completely out of control. I keep clearing out spaces so we have more room for toys, but I also don't want to dedicate, like, half of our limited storage space to plastic toys!
Is it obnoxious that I don't want Emmett's grandparents picking out random Christmas gifts? Or is it totally okay, given that I have NO space?!
