Delicate Salad "Bride"

"Bride" is the common name for puff snacks, decorated on top with grated egg whites. The composition may be different - ham, cheese, hard or melted, mushrooms, nuts. But the 2 ingredients always remain the same - cool eggs and mayonnaise.

Classic Salad "Bride"

Initially, the meat base of the dish was smoked chicken. Its pleasant taste and aroma were supplemented with neutral products - eggs, potatoes, soft cheese. This combination is considered a culinary classic.

Cooking method:

  1. Processed cheese 30 minutes before cooking put in the freezer.
  2. Make a marinade out of 100 g of hot water and vinegar. Put in it finely chopped onions for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the skin from the chicken. Free the meat from the bones and finely chop.
  4. Boiled potatoes and egg whites grate on a coarse grater, cheese and yolks - on fine.
  5. Prepared products lay out in a salad bowl in layers. First chicken, then pickled onions, potatoes, yolks.Chicken, potato and yolk layer may be richly smeared with mayonnaise.
  6. Sprinkle the top with grated proteins and leave for 2 hours to soak.

If the appetizer is prepared for a solemn occasion, you can alternate all layers 2 times.

Festive recipe salad "Bride"

This variation of the snack is shaped like a cream cake. It should be designed using a split baking ring with a diameter of 18-20 cm.


  • eggs - 6 pcs .;
  • turkey ham - 200 g;
  • crab meat - 250 g;
  • “Druzhba” processed cheese curds - 2 pcs .;
  • sweet apple - 1 pc .;
  • roasted peanuts - 100 g;
  • onion - 1 pc .;
  • mayonnaise - 300 g;
  • vinegar - 2 tbsp. l .;
  • salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • sugar - 1 tsp;
  • water - 2 tbsp.

If desired, peanuts can be replaced with walnuts.


  1. Hold processed cheese in the freezer for 1 hour, then grate finely.
  2. Marinate chopped onion in water with sugar, vinegar and 0.5 tsp. salt for 15 min.
  3. Crab sticks and ham cut into small cubes.
  4. Apple grate on a coarse grater.
  5. Eggs divided into whites and yolks. Proteins grate large, yolks - finely.
  6. Separately season the ham, crab sticks and yolks with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
  7. Squirrels divided into 2 parts. One part of the dressing mayonnaise, the second to leave for sprinkling.
  8. Grind the peanuts with a rolling pin into small pieces.
  9. On a large flat dish set the ring for baking, bottom up.
  10. Put the grated cheese in the form, grease with mayonnaise.
  11. Make the remaining layers in this order - yolks, pickled onions, crab sticks, grated apples, ham.
  12. Sprinkle with peanuts.
  13. Cover with proteins, seasoned with mayonnaise, decorate with protein dressing.
  14. Allow to soak for 2 hours, then remove the ring.

On the top of the salad, you can make a decorative rosette - put together 3 black olives in the shape of a flower, adding them with parsley sprigs.

Salad "The Bride" is served in a high transparent salad bowl to show beautiful layers. It is decorated with roses from fresh cucumbers, daisies from eggs, fresh greens. It is important that the design is consistent with the "wedding" style of the name.
